St Ives September Festival 2024, 2pm on Tuesday 24th September, Porthmeor Studios, St Ives

Join St Ives Bookseller as editor/author Emma Timpany and acclaimed botanical illustrator Sarah Jane Humphrey discuss Botanical Short Stories. This collection of contemporary fiction by new, emerging, and experienced writers celebrates the world of flowers and plants and the meanings they hold, in fourteen intriguing and surprising new short stories.

Penzance Litfest 5 July 1- 2.30pm, The Exchange, Penzance

In ‘The Blossoming Word’, Clare Reddaway and I will talk about the power of botanical fiction and read from Botanical Short Stories in a session chaired by Penzance Litfest trustee Gillian Cleave. Please join us for an exploration of the enduring power that plants and flowers have on us and how they might inspire us to create stories.
